Nothing fussy here. Just a hall table that is clean, elegant, and lightweight, both physically and visually. The frame is constructed of powder coated 1/2" square tubing, and the top is a single solid piece of 8/4 black cherry.
10" deep, 32" long, and 30" tall
The farm table is a clean and classic form intended to be a real workhorse piece of family furniture. With this design we wanted to add a brighter, cleaner, and more modern feel while retaining what we felt were the most important classic elements.
The table top and legs are constructed from solid Sugar Maple, while the skirt and stretcher are made from powder-coated steel.
Despite its size, the entire assembly can be broken down into seven major parts that can then be packed flat.
A set of custom made stools for an office kitchenette. The frames are constructed from blackened 1" angle steel, and the seats are white oak recovered from the framing of 100 year old barn in eastern Missouri. The design of these stools is such that they can be disassembled and packed into one box for simpler shipping.
This custom made standing desk was made for a client using the door from her childhood bedroom. Since the home was a 1920s PA Craftsman Colonial, this is a classic 5-panel door made of solid American Chestnut, complete with its original glass door knob and brass hardware.
The desktop was given a simple Danish Oil finish, and a 1/4" glass top. The frame is constructed from powder coated tubular steel and it disassembles for ease of transport and install. The LED back-lighting was a late addition that helps add a little color to the work space on grayer days.
